Mr. Ryan Smith begins his seventeenth year in education, and his first year as one of Plaza’s assistant principals. Mr. Smith started his educational career in the Kansas City Kansas Public Schools as a school bus driver and has worked his way to his current position.  At the time KCKPS, encouraged classified employees to return to school and obtain an alternative certificate to teach in the school and Mr. Smith knew this was a golden opportunity.  Mr. Smith taught business education at Washington High School and was later promoted to serve as Dean of Students.

Mr. Smith received a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership Management from Friend’s University, a Master’s Degree in Business Education from Rockhurst University, an Educational Specialist in Administration from Williams Woods University and is currently working towards completion of his Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from Williams Woods University (2018). 

A native of Kansas City, KS, Mr. Smith resides in the Kanas City, KS area with his wife Tina and 14-year old son RJ. They enjoy supporting RJ in all of his activities and spending time with their four grandchildren.

 

Keelie Stucker

Mrs. Keelie Stucker is beginning her twenty-second year in education, and her first year as Plaza’s assistant principal. She joined the Park Hill School District in 2016 as an assistant principal at Congress Middle School. Before joining Park Hill, Mrs. Stucker was the assistant principal at Excelsior Springs Middle School for six years and was honored as the 2014-15 GKCMPA Assistant Principal of the Year. Prior to becoming an administrator, Mrs. Stucker taught fourteen years in the classroom, serving as a band director in Cole Camp, Holden and Excelsior Springs. 

Mrs. Stucker earned a Bachelor’s degree in Instrumental Music from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1996, a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Northwest Missouri State University in 2008, an Educational Specialist Degree in Superintendency from Northwest Missouri State University in 2010 and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Williams Woods University.

Mrs. Stucker is a native of Mountain Grove, Missouri. She resides in Kansas City with her husband Marcus and their two sons, Logan and Cameron.
