Dr. Tressa Wright begins her 25th year in middle school education as the principal at Plaza Middle School. Before coming to Plaza, Dr. Wright served five years as an assistant principal at Bernard Campbell Middle School.  Prior to administration, Dr. Wright taught math at Bernard Campbell Middle School (14 years), Raytown South Middle school (2 years) and Mountain-View Birch Tree (3 years).  

Dr. Wright earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Southwest Missouri State in 1993, Master of Arts in Teaching from Webster University in 1999,  and completed her Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Baker University in 2011. 

Dr. Wright is a native of New Franklin, MO. She lives in Lee’s Summit with her husband Jeff and their two kids, Thalen and Tayla.  If not at Plaza, Dr. Wright can be found supporting her kids in their schooling and activities or spending time with family and friends.
