(1) Each student will graduate college, career, and life ready.

1.1: 80% of Park Hill students will meet readiness benchmark as measured by the CCR index.

1.2: Park Hill students will meet the SEL benchmark as measured by the SEL Index (Baseline % TBD).

1.3: 80% of Park Hill students will be proficient or advanced on the 21st Century Skills Assessment.

Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID)

• Teachers will utilize a common language for organizational & academic practices while routinely guiding students in the use of AVID organizational tools to track coursework, identify due dates, and maintain a binder/planner as measured by students' LifeEd Teachers.
• Student AVID survey results in areas of higher level thinking and collaboration strategies will increase from 40%-49% to 70% or higher by the end of 2022 school year.  Activities to reinforce higher level thinking including but not limited to: asking questions using Costa's Levels of Thinking, Socratic Seminars, Philosophical Chairs, Jigsaw, Four Corners, Trios, Think-Pair-Share, Collaborative Study Groups, Team Huddle, etc.

Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)

• Implement a building-wide tiered intervention system in order to increase math and reading scores on NWEA and MAP from fall 2021 to spring 2022.
• Implement tier two courses focused on curriculum priority standards and driven by current curricular data.

Positive Behavior Incentive System (PBIS)

• All staff at Plaza Middle School will implement a school-wide PBIS by teaching expectations from our PRIDE Matrix and using PBIS rewards to acknowledge and celebrate positive behavior by the end of 2021-2022 school year.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)

• To promote personal and professional growth in diversity, equity, and inclusion so that we can create a culture and provide structures that encourage ALL educators to discuss DEI openly, honestly, and as safely as possible in the school environment.
• Use restorative practices to decrease days spent in ISS/OSS/detentions and to increase the score on the balanced scorecard in the area of student belonging from 40-60.

Social/Emotional Learning (SEL)

• 90% of students will participate in weekly Character Strong lessons during the 2021-2022 school year to cultivate the ability to manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.

Culture and climate (C&c)

• The Culture and Climate Committee will create a welcoming and positive work environment to improve staff sense of belonging and work satisfaction by organizing at least one staff activity each month that promotes bonding and a sense of camaraderie.
